What to Watch This Week: October 12–18, 2026

Looking for what to watch this week? October 12–18, 2026 brings a new Marvel series, a returning political drama, reality TV and a sports documentary. This guide helps you choose a show by date, platform and mood, with viewing notes for the USA, Canada, UK and Australia.

What to Watch This Week: October 12–18 Calendar

ABC times are US Eastern/Pacific, with Central times shown after the slash. Regional release dates, catalogues and subscriptions can differ. Check the official service in your country before planning a watch party.

1. VisionQuest — October 14

Marvel Television has confirmed an October 14, 2026 premiere for VisionQuest on Disney+. Paul Bettany returns as Vision, while James Spader reprises Ultron. The series continues the story thread that began with WandaVision and Agatha All Along.

Best for: superhero and science-fiction fans. If those earlier series are still on your catch-up list, use the start of the week to revisit them before the new premiere.

2. The Diplomat Season 4 — October 15

The Diplomat returns to Netflix on October 15. Season 4 picks up the political and personal tensions surrounding Kate and Hal Wyler and the Penn administration. Expect international negotiations and relationship drama to share the spotlight.

Best for: political-thriller viewers who enjoy sharp dialogue. Catch up on previous seasons first; this is a continuing story rather than an easy place to begin watching.

3. 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville — October 15

ABC brings back 9-1-1 at 8/7c, followed by 9-1-1: Nashville at 9/8c. This makes Thursday a natural choice for viewers who like emergency dramas and a regular weekly TV routine.

Best for: action and procedural-drama fans. ABC says original programming streams the next day on Hulu in the US, including Hulu on Disney+ for eligible bundle subscribers. International viewers should check their local broadcaster or authorized streaming service.

4. Grey’s Anatomy — October 15

Grey’s Anatomy returns at 10/9c on ABC, completing Thursday’s three-hour drama lineup. It is a familiar pick for long-time viewers who want to return to medical stories and ongoing character relationships.

Best for: medical-drama fans. If late-night live viewing is inconvenient, check the next-day US streaming options or your country’s local release schedule.

5. Love Is Blind Season 11 — October 14

Netflix lists Love Is Blind Season 11 for October 14. The dating experiment offers a change of pace from this week’s scripted dramas, with relationships and decisions that invite discussion after each episode.

Best for: reality-TV fans and relaxed group viewing. Check the episode rollout in the app rather than assuming the whole season arrives at once.

6. TYSON — October 13

TYSON is a four-part Netflix documentary series about Mike Tyson’s life and career. It adds a sports and biography option to a week led by entertainment series.

Best for: boxing fans and documentary viewers. It is a useful Tuesday choice if you want to watch something before the Wednesday and Thursday premieres.
